Endless Horizon II
A 2022 Sunreef 80 sailing catamaran, built without compromise.
Overview
A Sunreef 80, built without compromise
Endless Horizon II is a 2022 Sunreef 80 sailing catamaran — 78 feet long, nearly 38 feet across, and laid out across 340 square metres of interior and deck. She is the second Sunreef her owner commissioned, and it shows in the detail: the galley sits up in the salon rather than down in a hull, so the space where you eat, cook and gather is one continuous room with the water on three sides.
She sails properly. Bryt sails, a Code Zero for light air, electric primary and secondary winches, and twin helms — one at the navigation station, one on the flybridge with 360-degree views. Under power she carries two John Deere 280hp engines; the port engine was replaced in 2024.
What sets her apart is quieter than any of that. Thirty lithium batteries store 83 kilowatt-hours, which means the air conditioning runs all night on battery alone. No generator. No hum. You anchor in a bay, and the only sound is the water.
